A Collection of My Favourite Games

Video games have been a part of my life ever since I was little, thanks to my older brothers. Back in the 1990s, Microsoft DOS Games was pretty much my childhood, along with my old school Gameboy and Nintendo 64. Mario, Monkey Island, Doom, Wacky Wheels, Duke Nukem, Transport Tycoon, Commander Keen: those were the classics back in my early gaming days.

My passion for gaming only grew as years went on, and to this day, my love for them has never stopped — it never will.

The Walking Dead: Season 2, Episode 5: 'No Going Back' | Review

Sometimes There Just Isn’t the Right Answer
Sometimes you have to hurt others to protect the people you care about,” but what happens when you have to hurt the people you care about to protect the lives of others? It’s never easy choosing between tough decisions, nor is it easy to sacrifice the things you care about most.

The Walking Dead: Season 2, Episode 1: 'All That Remains'

I realised I never posted the first review, so here it is!
“She’ll die a little girl if you treat her like one. You gotta consider her a living person. That’s it. You’re either living or you’re not. You ain’t little, you ain’t a girl, you ain’t a boy, you ain’t strong or smart. You’re alive.” – Chuck,
The Walking Dead: Season One

 A new beginning awaits.

The Walking Dead: Season 2, Episode 4: 'Amid The Ruins' | Review

Bloodshed and Tears; No One is Safe
Tension is rising, the group is breaking, lives will be lost and another will be born. It’s never easy saying goodbye, nor is it easy to decide one’s fate. Escaping from the herd of zombies in ‘In Harm’s Way’ is only the beginning of what’s to come next, and with your choices locked in, there’s no
turning back.

The Wolf Among Us: Episode 5 'Cry Wolf' | Review

The Wolf will Rise.
When you cry wolf, nobody listens. But what if the one person who does listen, is the wolf himself?

All good things must come to an end, but will this be a happily ever after for the people of Fabletown and Bigby himself? How will it all end?

The definition of a ‘happy ending’ is different to many. Some players will enjoy it and others—and most likely many—will be left scratching their heads as they try to wrap their brain around a certain ‘twist’. But if there’s one thing for certain, this season finale is definitely bigger and ‘badder’ and contains more action than the previous episodes with an ending that will blow your mind—Wolf pun intended.

The Wolf Among Us: Episode 4 'In Sheep's Clothing' | Review

Rise of The Big Bad Wolf
Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, is this the greatest episode of them all?
It’s a question you tend to ask yourself during and after each episode, but the answer will always differ for each player. The mystery continues and you’re left second guessing your choices. I won’t give away too much in terms of spoilers of course, but let’s just say the first four minutes are painful,
not only to watch, but also to play—you’ll see why.

The Walking Dead: Season 2, Episode 3: 'In Harm's Way' | Review

We’re more alike than you think.” – Carver
Family is important, yet so is safety. After being captured by ruthless Carver and his group at the end of ‘A House Divided’, living in his strict community of labour and punishment proves to be tough. It’s a jail sentence for them all and breaking free won’t be easy—it’ll be almost a death sentence.

Hope of escape is doubted, trust is a risk, everyone is on edge, herds of zombies are gaining in and a psychopath threatens everyone’s fate. Welcome to Episode 3: In Harm’s Way.

Microsoft DOS Games: My Childhood

Do you remember accessing Microsoft DOS games and feeling joy once you saw those different coloured boxes filled with awesome, fun games? I sure do. Microsoft DOS games were pretty much my childhood; it was the beginning of my love for video games. Street Fighter 2, Hexen, Wolfenstein, Hugo, Jill of the Hill; there are way too many games to list unfortunately, but I will go through my top personal favourite classics and relive those precious childhood memories…and those beautiful, cringe worthy graphics, too, of course.

The Sims 4 | Discussion

If you’re a Sims fan, you may or may not know that The Sims 4 was set to be released early this year but has now has been delayed until the third or fourth quarter in 2014. The news may have disappointed some fans, but in all honesty, I think it’s a good thing.

The Sims is a fun series, no doubt about it. You get to create and customise houses, create families and pretty much control their lives—your Sim’s fate lies in your hand…literally. As a fan of the franchise, my love for the series remained strong, but unfortunately, that love turned into a love-hate relationship when it came to The Sims 3.

The Novelist | Review

The Choice is Yours
Time is the essence of everything: our lives, our future. What we do with it is our choice, and the choices we do make will affect someone or something in some way. There is a consequence to everything, whether good or bad, and it’s up to you to choose wisely. The Novelist, by Orthogonal Games, is a fine example of this. Not only is it enjoyable, it’s interesting, deep and creative.

Every character’s fate and their outcome in life is on you, but the most important question you must ask yourself is “whose needs are more important?” The choice is yours.

The Wolf Among Us Episode 3: A Crooked Mile | Review

The Big Bad Wolf just got bigger and more badass.
Filled with more action, a couple of twists, turns and tough decisions, The Wolf Among Us: A Crooked Mile definitely stepped up from the previous episode, Smoke and Mirrors. It’s big, mean and bad, and your wise or irrational choices will be tested.

Fans were amazed when GTA III was released because it took on a new perspective, and ever since then, it won the hearts of many gamers. To this day GTA has become the biggest gaming franchise so it’s no surprise that GTA V has sold over 15 million copies worldwide! But what makes this game different from the rest? The Wolf Among Us: Episode 2 'Smoke & Mirrors' | Review

"He's Big; He's Bad;
and He's on the Hunt."
The Big Bad Wolf is back in an all new episode of The Wolf Among Us: Smoke & Mirrors! After playing through it, all I can say is "...". Honestly, I have no words, but is that good or bad? Well...both. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am loving the series so far, but there are a few things I want to address, and don't worry, there won't be any spoilers.
