  • Arrow: Season 2, Episode 16
  • Hannibal: Season 2, Episode 4

  • Star-Crossed: Season 1, Episode 6
No movies this week!
So, let's start with the TV shows!

The Blacklist: S01, E16
Perfect Husband; Perfect ASSassin
Perfect husband? I think not. So we learnt last week that Tom isn't the nice, perfect fatherly type of man/husband as we were made to believe. Red was right about him—he's a killer. In this episode, Ressler is in trouble, Red's hitman targets Tom and Jolene, Tom shows his true self and the enemy on the blacklist isn't who they expected. Next week's episode looks interesting.

The 100: S01, E01
The 100: Reasons Why Humans Suck!

Arrow: S02, E16
Blowin' Diggle a Kissle
Diggin' deep with Diggle's past is what this episode is mainly about. We see more of his backstory, his love interest and his duties in the army. Oliver worries his friends, family and lover are going to be hurt and taken from him as Slade is on his path for revenge, Diggle is on his own mission to betray someone he once saved with the help of four criminals—Deadshot being one of them—Sara is worried for Oliver and feels he is being distant, and lastly, Deathstoke is officially introduced. An okay episode overall.

Believe: S01, E03
Predicting the Future
Another great episode of Believe this week. We're officially introduced to Bo's mother and Tate's girlfriend Nina who is just like Bo. The butterfly we keep seeing is Nina's soul guiding her daughter. We see her wearing a blue butterfly necklace and if I'm to guess, that's why Tate cried when he first saw Bo in the hospital. He noticed the butterfly and thought of his lost girlfriend. This episode also included a beautiful, touching story of a mother losing her child and finding him. I'm really enjoying this series so far!

Hannibal: S02, E04
Hannibal Being a Creep!
Uh oh! Someone's in trouble! Will remembers what Hannibal had done to him and what he really is, a new killer has a bee thing going, Jack's wife wants to die and after Will tells Bev Hannibal is eating his victims, she does some investigating and finds things she doesn't want to see—the ugly truth.

Helix: S01, E12
The Ultimate Choice
Dayum! This episode of Helix goes to show that you should never underestimate your enemy. Watch out Hatake, Jigsaw The Scythe has a nasty choice for you.

Baby face/ruthless assassin The Scythe is conniving and brutal despite his appearance. Alan and Peter team up to help Hatake, Julia helps Sarah understand the pros and cons of being immortal, The Scythe plans his attack as well as Alan and Hatake, Hatake is left in the worst decision possible because one character was stupid enough to get themself in trouble and the ending is a bit of a mindblower...literally. Great episode though can't believe next week is the season finale!

The Walking Dead: S04, E15
A Sign of Hope
Reuniting, dividing, surviving; another adventuresome episode of The Walking Dead. Glenn finds the messages Maggie left for him, we see the good side to Tara, Abraham Ford is actually a decent guy, Michonne and Carl seem to get along with Carl pulling another 'I Win' moment, Daryl finds himself stuck in a group who 'claim' things and the Terminus is shown. To me, the Terminus seems too good to be true. Could it be a place of cannibalism like St. John's in the game, or will that group be seen in the next season? Whenever it is, it's going to be an interesting journey to Washington DC.

Revenge: S03, E16
Dat Grayson Rage
Victoria is even more suspicious of Emily this week and plans to find out who she really is and what she really wants, Daniel will do anything to have Emily out of his life, Jack wants to help with Amanda's plan, Margaux's father makes a visit to the Hamptons, one of Emily's 'secrets' is out and a new clue is found on who else was involved with framing David Clarke.

Once Upon a Time: S03, E14
Face Your Fears: Yourself
After discovering Rumpelstiltskin is back (yay!), the Wicked Bitch Witch has more spells under her sleeves. This episode relives the year they missed and what David fears most when finding out Snow is pregnant with their second child and is faced with a new threat: their fear, Snow is too trusting with strangers as always, Hook and Emma have some chemistry going on and I hope it goes somewhere, Regina has some time with distant Henry and Rapunzel is introduced, and no, she isn't blonde! Awesome episode overall!

The Following: S02, E10
Too Hot to Handle...No, Really.
JC? Jesus Christ?...No, Joe Carroll

Psycho hottie alert? Joe's cult finds themselves four 'warriors' to send Joe's message around New York: "No Redemption Without Blood'. Any lover of cats will be saddened in this episode, I'm sure PETA would be too. With annoying Claire back in the series, things will get a little complicated. Max knows Mike lied about his whereabouts and Mike teases her for 'worrying' about himjust get together already!Beth from The Walking Dead is alive, more of Joe's backstory with the teacher who inspired him to kill is revealed, Joe thinks he is the new Jesus with more 'disciples', Ryan and Carrie have an odd sexual relationship going on and Emma and Mandy aren't getting along. Apart from Ryan having another stupid moment, it was an awesome episode! She-Devil Lily is back next week and I can't wait!

Bates Motel: S02, E04
Mama's Boy
Wow, okay, so I'm glad I've seen the original Psycho movie because if I hadn't, I would have been confused through parts of this episode. If you haven't figured it out yet, Norman is in love with his mother and knowing that makes the scenes when he is holding and staring at her even creepier. Do yourself a favour, if you haven't seen the movie, watch it! It'll make things more clear, especially the part when he talks to his uncle in his mother's perspective.

Dylan isn't coping knowing how his mother sees him and who and what he is, Norman is extra creepy around Norma, Emmaaka Cupcake Girl—fears the worst when waking up next to the cute pot seller Gunner, Zane is still a douchebag, Norman can't get the violent images of his mother being abused out of his mind, Cody is bringing out the worst in Norman and convinces him to get revenge, Christine is still a mystery or maybe just the first real nice person Norma has ever met, and Norma's brother convinces Dylan "it wasn't like that". An amazing episode this week, it truly stuck to the elements of Psycho and how complex Norman's character is.

Star-Crossed: S01, E06
Did you know Matt Lanter is 30? Would never have guessed! But this week, we see more of Roman and Emery's complicated love triangle and their true feelings for each other, Drake isn't the 'bad' guy we thought he might be, Roman makes a stupid mistake, Roman also walks in on the classic 'it's not what it looks like' moments between Emery and Grayson, Grayson is falling apart as his parents are known as the Red Hawk leaders, Emery keeps the secret about Cyper safe, two characters get nosy about the Cyper and a terrorist attack causes the Atrians to hate the humans even more. Though the show has its cheesy moments, the plot is getting better and I really hope it stays good and not so predictable.
