Shameless | TV Show Quick Review

Wild, crazy, hilarious and shocking: the first things that come to mind if I had to capture this show in four words. I have never watched a series that's so 'out there' that left me wanting more and to see how much worse things could possibly get for this family. And just when you think things can't get any worse, you couldn't be any more wrong...

My Blog Turns 1! | Thank You!

Happy First Blogthday?!
I honestly can't believe it's been one year since I started my blog. I went into this whole thing thinking no one would read my posts, whether it being my reviews, short stories and poems. And boy was I wrong!

There's a whole bunch of you guys out there (250+!) now who enjoy my work and my videos, and I can't thank each and every one of you enough for allowing my voice to be heard and read. You are all amazing, thank you!

Now that it's 2015, the future is only filled with possibility, further growth and potential, and who knows where Iand this blogwill be in another year from now: hopefully in an even better place! So once again, thank you so much for your support and for taking the time to read my posts and liking and commenting on them, it means the world to me and I appreciate you all. This whole thing has been a journey in itself and I hope you will all stick by me for another year and many other years to come!

Vampire Academy Movie | Review & Discussion

Warning: The following movie contains just as much cheese as nachos. You have been warned.
They Got The 'Suck' Part Right

So, I got to see my favourite novel series Vampire Academy be ruined by Hollywood film makers who know nothing about the books. A couple parts were funny and others were not, most of them being cheesy, cliché and typical, and most of the scenes with Dimitri were cringeworthy.

After I saw the trailer which looked like a chick flick meets a parody about vampires in high school, that's when I knew this movie would 'SUCK'—pun intended—and it's a real shame because it had potential to be almost as good as the books. Here's why.

Liebster Award!

Writing isn't only just words, it's words from the soul.

This was unexpected, but it did put a smile on my face. I had never heard of the Liebster Award until S Heart nominated me in her list and wrote how she enjoys my creative work. I was — and still am very flattered. :)

To learn more about me and this award, keep reading!

The Killing: The Final Season (4) | Preview & Discussion

"Ohh snaap, Linden!"
Words cannot express how excited I am to finally see what happens after the torturous cliffhanger in Season 3.

Revenge: Season 3 Finale | Discussion

The following contains spoilers. You have been warned.
Revenge comes with a Price
WHAAAAT?!

Revenge Season 3 came to a conclusion, one that left me a little sad and surprised at the end. It's called Revenge for a reason, but after that finale, was it all for nothing?

The Tomorrow People: Season 1 | Review and Discussion

The following will contain spoilers toward the end. You have been warned.

Telepathy; teleportation; telekinisis: the three awesome abilities The Tomorrow People acquire, except...they can't kill. Similar to the movie Jumper, each and every one of their species is being hunted by a secret organisation hunting paranormals, in this case Ultra. You have the love triangles, the badass fighting scenes, betrayal, twists, and, of course, your heroes and, behold...the Chosen One, a teenage boy named Stephen with the rare ability to stop time just like previous leader of their kind: his father.

Episode after episode, I was hooked. I liked each of the main characters and the way the show played out. It tricked me into thinking who you can trust and who the real villain is. And then, after falling in love with this series until the last few episodes, it all went wrong. Here's why.

The Following: Season 2 Finale | Discussion

The following—no pun intended—discussion contains spoilers. You have been warned.
Well, damn. The Following has wrapped up its second season with some cases closed and others left out in the open for viewers to wait another however long it is for Season 3 and guess what will happen next in the meantime. Did I like it? Eh, it was okay, but the season overall is another story.

The 100 | Review

The 100
Reasons Why Humans Suck!
What do you get if you put 100 young juveniles on Earth 97 years after a nuclear war destroyed civilisation? An interesting story of survival, rebellion and possible romance...oh and chaos, of course. The 100 is a new TV series created by Jason Rothenberg based on the book by Kass Morgon on how humans will never learn from their mistakes, never get along and will always go back to their bad, idiotic and egotistical ways. Great job
                                                                                                           humanity, you'll never change!
But with every story, there is always
                                                                                                                    hope...or is there?
