Welcome back to WW Wednesdays, also known as What I've Watched Wednesdays, a title that pretty much sums itself up! Click here for Part 5.
Each and every
Wednesday a new post will be published on the TV shows and/or movies I
have watched over the week, along with a brief summary of what I thought
of them, so stay tuned for more!
|__________________♥__________________|
For this week, I have watched the following:
- The Blacklist: Season 1, Episode 17
- The 100: Season 1, Episode 2
- Hannibal: Season 2, Episode 5
- Arrow: Season 2, Episode 17
- Helix: Season 1, Episode 13
- The Walking Dead: Season 4, Episode 16
- Revenge: Season 3, Episode 17
- Once Upon a Time: Season 3, Episode 15
- Believe: Season 1, Episode 4
- The Following: Season 2, Episode 11
- Bates Motel: Season 2, Episode 5
- Star-Crossed: Season 1, Episode 7
The Blacklist: S01, E17
Man Vs Wife |
With a young and highly intelligent—though not so intelligent and actually creepy socially—hacker steals a high level device known as the Skeleton Key to control pretty much anything in the city just to impress a girl. "With great power, comes great responsibility." Seems like some people don't take Uncle Ben's words seriously. In the meantime, Liz gets annoyed with Red because he 'isn't helping her found out the truth about Joline' and decides to investigate on her own, things get a little intense when Tom escapes from Joline's hideout and the ending reveals certain truths. I still believe Red is her real father, it only makes sense.
The 100: S01, E02
Humanity still hasn't changed, though Earth contains more beauty but also madness. There's the big bad boy (Bellamy) who acts like the King with a loyal servant (John), a temptress who every guy wants to date (Octavia) but her brother is strict with her, a smitten boy who will do anything to show his worth (Wells), the guy who the hero will end up with (Finn) and a new character known as Raven who is most likely Finn's ex lover, I'm going to call it. It was a good episode overall, though it was predictable, of teaming up, saving one of your own, temptation, experiencing Earth's nature and horrors, and also love...or is it lust?
Hannibal: S02, E05
So this episode of Hannibal is a little slow and at times a little boring. One of secondary characters is in pieces, Will wants Hannibal dead, a killer who tried to stop Will's trail is revealed, Hannibal cooks himself a nice, fresh set of kidneys and later on becomes the prey himself. An okay episode this week.
Arrow: S02, E17
I love how in Arrow nobody ever stops and takes a good look at Arrow and Black Canary. Sara had to save her sister and Laurel couldn't even tell it was Sara. Seriously? Wouldn't her chin give her away? But anyway, a good episode overall. We're shown more backstory of Sara saving Oliver, Arrow, Black Canary and her father working as a team, The Huntress Oliver trained is back with fighting skills that unbelievably outmatch a skilled fighter like Sara, Roy has to make a tough decision, Thea is about to have the worst days ahead and Slade is ready for his revenge. We will be seeing Deathstroke in action next week.
Helix: S01, E13/ Season Finale
Let's Begin |
Whaaaat? So it was Helix's last episode for the season this week and it will not disappoint...well, maybe some. With a couple of twists, this episode actually goes forward in time in the beginning and end, we also see Alan's character turn into a hero and a badass, someone has an unexpected and unplanned outcome, Hatake and Julia reunite with Jaye, someone we know is on the 'bad side', The Scythe wants to rule the world and we get a small taste of what Season 2 will be like. Helix will be returning in 2015. Gah, I hate waiting!
The Walking Dead: S04, E16/ Season Finale
COOOOORRL! |
"Welcome to Terminus. Those Who Arrive, Are Fried."
When something is too good to be true, it generally is. Rick, Michonne and Carl are ambushed by the psycho Redneck group Daryl is in, Carl and Michonne bond some more, Rick shows off his brutal side when someone messes with his son, Terminus reveals some hidden truths that I saw coming and four characters are still missing, I'm guessing Beth is toast...literally. Great season finale. I don't want to wait until October to see what happens though. Hannibal is going be jealous....
Revenge: S03, E17
Every Coin Has Two Faces |
Once Upon a Time: S03, E15
Life For a Life |
Believe: S01, E04
Do you believe in love and forever after? Because Bo does. This episode shows the love story between a man who went to the army and a woman who believed he never wanted to see her again, until Bo finds a note and a ring he left behind that was hidden away from her. Still on the run, we see a bit more backstory as to why Milton took Bo away from Roman, as well as a new character similar to Bo who uses their power for the bad. Roman finds a way to track her location whenever she uses her ability out of frustration so her power will come at a cost. Good episode, but I don't see why Roman just doesn't try and take Bo since the police keep failing at it.
Do You Even Lift, Brah? |
The Following: S02, E11
Hello, Ryan |
Bates Motel: S02, E05
Dylan's Got A Gun ♪ |
Star-Crossed: S01, E07
Hold Your Breath |
Spoiler alert, yes, they do kiss, and as a viewer, I didn't exactly 'feel' their chemistry. Something about the show is still missing and I believe it's their connection. I'm not feeling it. An okay episode, but it was so typical at times that I rolled my eyes, something I rarely ever do when watching a TV series. We don't need another cheesy forbidden love story, make it a true love story.
Vampire Academy (2014)
They Got The 'Suck' Part Right |
